I'm Mary Schofield, an attorney in El Dorado County, California. I split my professional time between working as academic dean for Northwestern California University School of Law, and handling a small caseload of legal matters in California.
My primary practice area is estate law, handling both estate planning and estate administration. This area of practice also includes guardianships, special needs trusts, and powers of attorney. Additionally, I take a few cases each year dealing with CPS contacts, primarily representing parents who have been wrongly accused of neglect.
I work hard to provide high quality legal service in a personal and caring manner at a reasonable cost. I want to give my clients the kind of personal service that will lead to a lifetime relationship, so they have an attorney they can call with all their legal matters.
